This year, instead of giving chocolates and cards to our customers we decided to make a donation of £1,000 split between charities & business’ across the North East who would benefit from our support.
Rather than dividing this money ourselves we let our customers choose who they would like our donation to go to. This week we’ve had the pleasure of delivering cheques to Cedarwood Trust, Sunderland Carers Centre and Sunningdale School.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thanks all our staff and customers who without, this donation wouldn’t have been possible.
Sunningdale School – £433.00
Sunningdale School is Sunderland’s only specialist school for children with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties aged 2-11. Sunningdale’s vision for pupils is encapsulated in the phrase, “Be More…”. They want every child to ‘be more’. They want every child to be more in whatever way is important to them and their family.
Cedarwood Trust – £255.00
The Cedarwood Trust offers a variety of services, daily activities and support groups for the community. Offering residents a safe place to spend time, meet people and provide essential support and resources to those who need it. Cedarwood Trust help people to have increased health, education, leisure and economic opportunities.
Sunderland Carer’s – £312.00
Sunderland Carers Centre provide support for people who look after others. They support people who care for their husband, wife, mam, dad, son, daughter, sibling, friend or other relative. They offer information, advice and guidance to carers in and around Sunderland – and it’s all confidential, non-judgemental and impartial.
