Smart IT would like to welcome David Wilson to Smart IT, David will be joining us as an IT & Communications Account Manager, having previously worked for Russell Telecom.
David has over 9 years’ experience in telecommunications industry, working with some of the biggest Telecoms and IT companies in the North East, as an Account Manager and more recently as a Sales Manager.
David’s skills in communications will help strengthen our unified communications service offerings and allow customers to benefit from huge cost savings and improved efficiency through their IT. The investment by Smart IT demonstrates our commitment to offering customers a fully outsourced technology services company, all under one roof.
New Account Manager David says “I’ve come across Smart IT many times when quoting for IT and Telecoms projects, and to be honest, they’re a hard company to beat with customers being very loyal to the brand. When they contacted me about this vacancy it was difficult to refuse, they’re a company you want to be part of. I’m looking forward to a great future with Smart IT.”

When we began offering Telecoms to customers three years ago we knew in order to sustain our excellent reputation we needed to directly employ all our telecoms staff. Our customer’s telecom systems are vital to their business, in order to ensure the reliability and quality of the service outsourcing to a partner was not an option. David is part of this recruitment and will bring some excellent skills to Smart IT.”
Smart IT have since acquired Red Kite Communications, a dedicated telecommunications company with many years’ experience in the industry. They’ve also employed some regional telecommunications experts, including Shaun O’Connor, and invested heavily in training Smart IT staff in installation, maintenance, provisioning and project management.
Tony goes on to say “The investment has paid off, Smart IT customers have benefited from huge cost savings, not just from better line and call rates, but also from improved communication systems and more responsive support. We just couldn’t deliver the same quality of service and cost savings if we were to rely on third parties.”
