After 13 years providing IT support and telecommunication services to local businesses, Gateway Technology have decided to exit the IT Maintenance arena and transfer their business IT support division to Smart IT to enable them concentrate more on the development of their OnsiteFormZ Mobile Workforce and Job Management software products and services.
Ken Taylor, Managing Director of Gateway Technology says “We have built good relationships with our customers over the years, with many of our customers being with us since we were first established. When deciding to discontinue our technology services IT Support division, it was important to me that we found alternative cover with a local IT company with an excellent reputation, which is why we choose Smart IT.”
Ken goes on to say “We will be giving all our customers the choice to continue their support with Smart IT, or source their own IT provider. Although the majority have agreed Smart IT would be the most suitable IT provider for the future.”
Going forward Gateway Technology will be partnering with Smart IT Support to continue to provide clients with first class business solutions.
As part of the acquisition, all Gateway Technology maintenance engineers will become employees of Smart IT to ensure an easy transition for all customers
